Famous   Sanischara(Sani Bhagavan)
                              

                   Lord  Sanischara is one of  the nine planets that revolves around the  Sun.We call this planet Saturn.Saturday denotes Sanischara. Only this planet got a special title  called Eshwara by Lord Siva Himself.He is the son of Sun.His brother is Yamadharma.

                  Sani has an important role in everyone's life.He is the one who determines ones life span.If Sani is powerful  and beneficial in one's horoscope  he will have long life.Sani affects all the humans.His influence are Ezharai nattu Sani,Kandaka Sani and Ashtama Sani.
                Ezharainattu Sani comes once in 30years in one's life.If  Sani comes to the previous house of a man's rasi and then after two and a half years(2/1/2yrs) to his own rasi and again  comes for two and a half years(2/1/2yrs) to the next rasi those  total period of seven and a half years is called Ezharai Sani.If the Sani comes to the fourth place of ones  rasi is called Kandaka Sani and if in the Eighth place of ones rasi is called Ashtama Sani.
                  It is a general belief that Sani always does harm.This notion is wrong.Sani will not harm those who give him due respect.Not only that those who worship Lord Ganesha,Lord Hanuman and Manikandan will have only a slight influence of his power.
                      Ravana once injured the leg of Lord Sani with hisChandrasma weapon, that is why he is called Mandan,which means slow mover.He can walk only in a slow  pace.He never spared Lord siva even .But instead of 7/1/2Years just his influence was there only for 7/1/2 seconds, when the universe became stand still.Lord Ganesha met Sani and sent him to heaven where he met his own father Sun god.He was sent him back to Manikadan, later on he surrendered there.Manikandan pardoned Sani on the condition that he should not harm those who worship Manikandan.Sani agreed.Thus worshippers of lord Ganesha,Hanuman and Manikandan(Lord Ayyappa) will be loved by Lord Saneeshwara ,who will bestow prosperity and good health.HisOwn Houses are Makaram and Kumbam.
     Exclusive Temples exist for Sanischara at Thirunallar in Tamii Nadu,
and also at Naydongri in Maharashtra. In Karnataka every township has a
temple for Shanishwara and well worshiped by one and all.
